Installation notes:

Flash-Link is an intelligent cable incorporating a USB controller inside the USB plug and therefore it requires operating system drivers to function. For a smooth installation endure that the drivers are already installed before plugging the cable to the computer for the first time.

Two variants of the Flash-Link have been produced which utilise different USB controllers. The type of controller can be identified by the colour of the servo J-type plug on the other end of the cable.

Black plug   The drivers for this cable are now build-in Windows XP. Simply plug the cable to the computer and allow Windows to search for a suitable driver. Depending on your service park version this may require Windows to connect on the Internet to acquire the latest update.

Blue plug   Download and install the drivers before plugging the cable to the computer. Once the drivers are installed plug the cable to the computer and allow Windows to search for a suitable driver.

Once Flash-Link is installed simply download and run the configuration or firmware update utility for your Spartan RC product.

System requirements:

Flash-Link has only been tested and guaranteed to work with the Windows XP and Windows Vista operating systems.
